You are responsible for your own account's safety.
All precautions have been taken on our web-pages and there are no technical problems.
All other liabilities lie with the player him/herself.
The game refers to your personal security several times, additionally there are sufficient warnings in the forum.
If you have lost your account for some reason and someone has changed your e-mail address without permission, you can undo it (as of 19.10.2007).
This must be done within 7 days, otherwise the account will remain registered with the new e-mail address.
If the problem is still not fixed, please click here.
Please log onto our homepage www.metin2.com and click on 'Forgotten password' button under login panel. Choose the required password and fill out all the appropriate panels. Afterwards you will be sent the password via your registered email address.
If you have this particular problem you have to contact Gamepay.
Please explain your problem on their website
http://support.gamepay.de
The support team will contact you within two working days.
The gamemaster and the support service keep track of offences made and the use of words that have been filtered out by us.
Unfortunately we cannot abolish all insults because they are often worded with the use of colloquial words. Of course we aim to keep the conversation at a particular standard. A lot of things can be resolved with each other without having to get the gamemaster involved.
Though, if you do feel harassed by another player, feel free to change to a different channel. We cannot accept a screenshot as proof as it is possible to manipulate them.
You can send a message to us about a player that is acting improperly, send us the player's name and the type of insult. Depending on the situation we will get in contact with the player and give him a warning.
If you have been threatened by the person in real life and are worried for your personal safety, you can take the screenshot to the police and press charges.
Unfortunately there are a few email providers that block automatic emails and that don't even allow the emails to reach your inbox.
The ones that we are aware of at the moment are hotmail and GMX
If you are using one of these providers, we suggest creating a new email address with a different provider and changing your email address in your account.
There will always be players who will try to get the better of you. Unfortunately, that kind of behaviour does not violate any of the rules.
We have made a list of possible fraud attempts and the feasible solutions to them.
Improving items:
A player claims to be able to improve items, duplicate them etc.
Don't give them your items!!! Because someone is just trying to trick you.
Wrong item/wrong amount of Yang
If you want to exchange an item, your trade partner should put his or her item in the trade window before you place your counter item in the window. The trader agrees to the deal, but suddenly aborts the trade and exchanges his item with an item of no value. (Example: he originally showed level 26 armour +7 in the window, but then swapped it for the same armour with +0). If you confirm the trade now, you will receive a worthless item, while the other player will receive an item of worth in his inventory.
Before you confirm the trade, check to make sure that the item/Yang in the window is the correct one.
An alternative option is a shop bundle. Give the item to the salesman and ask him to sell it for a particular price of +1 Yang in his shop. Now you can sell the item problem-free and won't be ripped off.
Don't be put under pressure to make a quick decision on a trade.
If the salesman doesn't have time to wait for your decision, then the trade just won't take place or you will have to do it another time.
Individual trade treaty's like 'I will level you against Yang/items' we can't trace back.
So if you are double-crossed we cannot help you.
Other deals like 'Give me your weapons/armour, I want to try them out' can also not be traced back by us.
Before you let yourself in on something like that, be aware of the consequences. Not every player carries himself in the way that he pretends to.
